What a Restroom Sanitation Program Includes

Restroom cleaning is the service category that generates the most complaints and the most contract terminations in commercial cleaning. The reason is almost always scope ambiguity: the client expected one thing, the contractor delivered another, and the written agreement did not resolve it.

Our restroom program starts with a fixture count, a supply inventory and a written protocol before any crew visits the facility. Standard program scope covers:

• Toilet and urinal disinfection, inside and out, rim included
• Sink and countertop disinfection
• Mirror and glass cleaning
• Touchpoint disinfection: door handles, faucets, flush valves, dispensers
• Partition wipe-down on a rotation determined by foot traffic
• Floor mopping with an appropriate germicidal cleaner
• Supply replenishment: paper towel, toilet tissue, soap, seat covers
• Trash removal and liner replacement

Supply Replenishment

Supply replenishment is included in the program price. We track supply consumption across visits and flag abnormal depletion. If a dispenser needs replacement or a supply order needs adjustment, we handle it and note it in the visit log. You do not need a facilities contact monitoring restroom supplies on a daily basis.

Accountability and Documentation

Each restroom visit is documented. The crew logs the time in, fixture count, and any supply deficiencies. If a building manager or property supervisor asks for a service log, it is available. This matters in multi-tenant buildings where tenant complaints about restroom condition are common and the cleaning contractor is the first point of escalation.

High-Traffic Restrooms

Restrooms serving 100 or more users per day need mid-day attention in addition to nightly service. We can schedule a mid-day restroom check as a standalone service item, priced separately from the nightly program. This is standard in Tempe office buildings above five stories and in retail-adjacent commercial properties along Apache Boulevard and Southern Avenue.
